Half Time Shuffle

Dennis opens with a very funky half-time shuffle feel with some syncopated bass drum accents and serious ghost note texture, and then throws the listener a curve-ball by accenting every fourth group of three notes, creating a very swanky modulation. This transcription covers from the beginning to about 1:04 in the video, where he stops shuffling and starts blowing chops all over the place.
